We are pleased to provide an update on the SAFE-D project. Our partners recently had the opportunity to meet in person in Turkey, where the Turkish partner organized the partner meeting at Istanbul University.
During the two-day event, partners reviewed the main tasks for the project’s implementation, including project management, dissemination, quality assurance, and sustainability valorization.
In implementing Action One, led by Cappinno, we refined the set outcomes, aligned the tasks of each partner and participant, and reviewed the methodology developed for the needs assessment. This included criteria for on-site observation, interview outlines, questionnaires, and formats for documenting results.
We identified several best practices, including the Vision Zero initiative, the Train4Work.eu program, and the Ergonomics Training, Job Analysis and Follow-Up Activities for Small and Medium-Sized Michigan Companies.
Beyond discussing current tasks, the meeting provided an opportunity to understand the university innovation environments in different countries, SMEs’ economic and social conditions, and the values of their employees and management.
In the coming months, we will finalize the needs assessment, which will result in the creation of a guide to support ergonomic activities for SMEs. This guide will also include a training plan.
